From Ashram road trailhead, Fowler, Spring Brook North, Spring Brook South, Spring Brook North (ie, CCW loop), Goshawk, Fowler west into Eldo to Rattlesnake Gulch trailhead, down Eldo road, roads back to Ashram trailhead.

Started at 6:31 am. Had Jeff V pacing me for this one. Probably went out a bit hard. Got a side cramp on Greenman above the talus. Got rid of it for a bit, but then it returned for the last few minutes.

PR by 28 seconds. Previous PR was 37:34 on 4/8/12.

Ran into Patrick, Bill B, Sheri and Kirsten this morning.

PR by 1:04. Previous PR was 38:38 on 6/18/10.

Passed Bill B and his wife Julie a few minutes from the summit, which spurred me on to finish strong. Started down and immediately ran into them coming up. I guess I chatted with Bill for 20+ minutes (mostly 14ers) before continuing down.

Started at 6:39 am. Much of the snow from earlier in the week was melted, but some north-facing sections up high were pretty icy.

Sat for a bit on top enjoying the foggy view. Was sort of waiting to see if Bill would show up, but then Kraig K topped out via West Ridge. Jogged down West Ridge with him, then he headed down Green Bear.

Started around 6:50 am. Finished around 8:07 am. Mostly easy hiking today. No splits - watch dead.

Started at 11:01 am. A bit of fresh snow overnight. Was in the teens at the start, but I climbed above the clouds, and the summit was sunny and warm with no wind. Took it pretty easy on the ascent, hiking most of it. Was pushing the descent a bit until I ran into Rex H and Caroline just above the Greenman/Saddle Rock junction. Stopped to chat with them for several minutes.

Right after that, a link came undone on one of my Microspikes. I stopped to try to fix it, to no avail, so I removed it and ran with one Microspike. Didn't care for that, so stopped again and tried to fix it again, again to no avail, so just put it back on. Ran a bit further and then removed it as I felt like I might break it even worse. So, ended up descending most of Saddle Rock and Amph with one Microspike.

Ran into Charlie N back at the trailhead. Nice to chat with him for a bit.
