East Lake Sammamish Trail (Seattle)
From NW Gilman Blvd, north on East Lake Sammamish Trail, back the same.
Started at 1:13 pm. Carried my phone and started MyTracks. Didn't expect it to announce mile markers, but that turned out to be nice. Forced myself to turn back before hitting 5 miles so as to not overdo it as I ease back into running. Despite feeling like I was struggling later in the run, I ran pretty even splits. Would have actually negative split if not for a long stop at a traffic light on the return.

MyTracks data:
9.69 miles

South Boulder, Bear
From South Mesa TH, Mesa, Homestead, Towhee, Shadow, South Boulder; over to Bear; down the same.
Started at 3:21 pm. With Jeff V. Casual start as Sierra was a bit slow out of the blocks. Not having run in several weeks, I pushed pretty hard up the steep lower section of Homestead, as I didn't want to make Jeff walk just minutes into the run. Above that, eased off the effort so that I could be conversational. Actually felt pretty good. Trails were pretty much snow and ice from Towhee on, but we didn't use Microspikes on the ascent up South Boulder. Quite pleased with my time up South Boulder given a lost minute or so at the start for Sierra, the slightly longer route up Homestead, less than ideal traction, and chatting most of the way up.
Put (dull) Microspikes on atop South Boulder and descended slowly to the saddle and over to Bear. Took it pretty easy on the descent as Sierra was "dogging it" a bit, and I knew my quads were going to be sore from this, so no need to go too hard.

Castle, Conundrum
Started at 6:48 am. Mostly solo, but spent some time with Kevin B, Ken N, Jean A, and Terri H on and between the summits.
From the gate at the Ashcroft ski area, skied (NNN) up the Castle Creek road to around 12,800'. Felt pretty slow/tired for most of the approach. Pretty sure I would have been faster on foot carrying the skis.
Stashed the skis, then up the headwall to the NE Ridge of Castle. Only stopped for a few photos on the summit before continuing on to Conundrum, where I caught up to the gang. Hung out on Conundrum for a bit with Kevin, then headed back over Castle.
Hung out there for a bit with the gang, then boogied to try to get home before the girls were asleep (traffic was super-light, so I made it). Made good time back down to the skis. Used the skis for just a couple minutes, then stowed them on the pack from 12,800' down to about 11,400'. Much faster and less tiring for me that way (the track was narrow, very firm, off-camber, occasionally rocky, etc). Once below the Pearl Pass junction, lots of snowplowing, occasionally letting the skis run, until back to the "flats".

Hike out from Crater Lake
Broke camp, then boogied out. Dominic pushed the pace to get us to Hickory House ASAP. Started hiking out around 5:00 pm and got back to the cars around 7:45 pm.
Pyramid
With Dwight S, Sarah and Dominic M, Kiefer T. Started at 6:45 am. From camp to the west slopes. Cramponed up the lower gully. Opted to leave the gully and ascend the mostly dry slopes north of the gully up to the NW Ridge. On up that route to the summit. We did break out the rope briefly for the crux wall above the loose gully, then rapped the wall on the descent.
