Flatirons Vista
From Flatirons Vista TH, Flatirons Vista South (?), down the hill on Doudy Draw, Spring Brook Loop (probably CCW direction?), back up the hill on Doudy Draw, Flatirons Vista North (?). (Guessing at the route 3 years later.)

Princeton attempt
Started at 11:00 am from the parking at the bottom. Once onto the trail, the weather started looking a bit iffy. Stopped for a while to see what it would do. Turned back when it started to sprinkle a bit. Of course, when I got back down to the TH, the sky was perfectly clear over and behind the summit.

Green
From Gregory TH, Amph, Saddle Rock, Greenman, Green; down the same.
Started at 4:16 pm. Kept it fairly comfortable up Amph and Saddle Rock. Neither the legs nor the lungs felt like I was working very hard. Quite surprising. I did stride it out a few times and elevated the heart rate a bit as the legs were feeling spry, but then I'd ease back off.
Seeing a pretty good time at the Greenman junction and still feeling pretty good, I decided to try and run as much as I could on the upper part of the mountain. I ran pretty easy - too easy - to Greenman Spring. Up through the talus it started to hurt a bit more. Kept the run going a ways, but it ended a bit below the steep rocky section. I then let myself ease off a bit too much until the final few switchbacks. I think I would've been better off putting myself into the mindset of hiking as fast as possible rather than running as much as possible. Oh well, still was psyched to be under 40:00.
Decided not to push the down. Walked most of it.

Bear (PR), South Boulder
From Devils Thumb TH, Bear Canyon road, Mesa, Fern, Bear; over to South Boulder; back to Fern; down the same.
Started at 6:02 am with Bill W, Matt S, and Jim H from work. Bill put time on me from the start. He headed up Bear Canyon and West Ridge to Bear, but I wanted to see what I could do for Fern. I wanted a comparison with Cragmoor and also thought I could get a PR for this route.
Pretty hard effort the whole way up Bear. Was a bit bummed to not break 50:00 for the ascent. Decided to tack on South Boulder, so didn't really stop on Bear. Down the west face of Bear, hustled to the saddle, then slowed a bit to the top of South Boulder. Didn't stop there either, tried to hustle back to Fern, but faded even more. Saw Bill walking down Fern just as I started down, so I caught up to him quickly. Saw Jim and Matt a bit further down. They continued to Bear while Bill and I took it pretty easy jogging back to the trailhead.
Fairly clear that the Cragmoor route is faster. I got to the Shanahan/Fern junction in 18:42 from Cragmoor last night and in 22:06 from Devils Thumb this morning. And I probably ran that stretch a bit harder this morning than last night. From that junction to the summit of Bear, I was 43 seconds faster this morning than last night.
Not sure what my previous PR was for this route, but I believe it was in the 52-54 minute range. I'll call this a PR.
