From Gregory TH, Amph, Saddle Rock, Greenman, Green; down West Ridge, Ranger, (up) Greenman, Saddle Rock, Amph.
Started at 6:37 am. Legs felt pretty dead again from the start. Given that, I was very surprised to basically match my time from yesterday. Pretty happy with that type of time given the way I felt. Opted to get in a little more time and distance on the descent, so headed up Greenman from Ranger over to Saddle Rock.

Green
From Gregory TH, Amph, Saddle Rock, Greenman, Green; down the same.
Started at 6:36 am. Didn't get enough sleep and was tired. Started out with the intention of just taking it fairly easy. Legs felt heavy and dull from the start. Did jog a few less steep sections, but was only able to do that because I was taking it easy. I'm sure I increased the effort as I moved up the mountain, though (given my time). I looked at my watch near the top of the log steps and was surprised to see 39 low, so I pushed really hard the last few switchbacks. Quite happy with my time given the easier start and the dead legs.
Talked with a guy on the summit that I'd seen on Green at least once last week. Joe has been using Green to rehab from a leg injury last year. Hope to see him lots more on the mountain this year.

Crosslite2.0 - noticed a tear in the left shoe before starting out :-(

Green
From Gregory TH, briefly up Amph, then back down; then up Gregory, Ranger, West Ridge, Green; down Greenman, Saddle Rock, Amph.
Started up Amph in the afternoon/evening. Super slow. Then saw Jeff V flying down toward me. Turned to run down to the TH to chat with him since it'd been a while since we'd chatted. After 10 minutes or so of chatting, I switched it up and headed up Gregory. Still slow and mostly hiking.
Stupid watch reset before I got the splits so these are from memory.

Green

Started at 6:00 pm. Pretty continuous snow on the trail above Greenman Spring. Thus took the upper part of the descent reasonably cautious. Picked things up below the Spring. Stopped to move a large rock off the traverse below the Greenman/Saddle Rock junction. Then just absolutely flew down the rest of the descent. Ran down Saddle Rock and Amph probably faster than I ever have. Wish I felt that "on" all the time, but this was just one of those days.

Green, Bear
From Devils Thumb, Bear Canyon road, Mesa, Bear Canyon, Green Bear, West Ridge, Green summit; down West Ridge, Green Bear; up West Ridge, Bear summit; down Fern, Mesa, Bear Canyon road.
Started at 5:50 am. With Bill W. Think this was pretty casual for Bill, but I was working pretty hard. I walked much of Green Bear while Bill kept the run going and topped out on Green a minute or so (?) ahead of me. Psyched that I managed to run much of Bear's West Ridge. Bill got ahead of me again here, but I caught up (more likely, he eased off) at the bottom of the final steep climb. We then hiked that together. Felt un-smooth as usual in Fern. Quads were pretty fried near the end of this run.
