Started at 1:06 pm. Yesterday's trip up Green was depressing. Had no energy whatsoever. Today was very satisfying. The times aren't what they were back in June, but I thought I'd lost even more fitness, so this felt good.

Started at 11:44 am. Just nothing in the tank on this day. Glad I didn't run the Basic today, as that would've been miserable the way I was feeling.

South Boulder, Bear, Green

From South Mesa TH, Mesa, Towhee, Shadow, South Boulder; over to Bear; Bear West Ridge, Green-Bear, Green West Ridge, Green; down Greenman, NE Ridge, trail down to 1st/2nd Flatiron trail, down to Chautauqua.

Started at 1:38 pm. Planned to do the peaks and return to South Mesa, but I wimped out and called for a "rescue" from Chautauqua. Pretty wasted after this.

South Boulder

From South Mesa TH, Mesa, Towhee, Shadow, South Boulder; down the same.

Started at 1:40 pm. Been battling a bit of a cold, but I had to get out. Didn't seem to bother me on the ascent, but I had a few coughing fits coming down.

Jogged the entire approach to Shadow Canyon. Hiked the entire canyon. Ran longer than usual above the saddle before being reduced to hiking.

Jogged/walked down very casually. Wanted to take it easy on my foot, so didn't run the steeper or more technical sections. Also cleared a lot of rocks in Shadow on the descent.

Right foot is still very painful at times. When running, it really only bothers me when I step on a rock that puts pressure on the right spot or twists my foot. Hurts much worse day to day just walking around at home or at work. One of these days I'll get it checked out.
